Our Group has experienced steady, stable growth since its conception in 1955. We currently have a Detailer career opportunity in the Rebar Services Division of Ocean Steel & Construction Ltd.

Responsibilities: 

• Detailing rebar using Bentley’s Microstation and ASA Inc. drafting software;
• Accurately producing drawings to meet contract specifications;
• Effectively utilizing detailing software to produce quality drawings;

Education Requirements - Knowledge & Skills:

• Candidates with post secondary education in Civil, Architectural, or Mechanical Engineering Technology or previous experience in the construction industry along with the ability to read blueprints and desire to learn detailing will be considered;
• Previous experience with architectural drafting/detailing using a computerized drafting software package would be a definite asset;
• Must have high attention to detail;
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
