Our client, a growing national company and a leader in construction and fabrication services for Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration systems is currently looking for a Controls and Instrumentation Sales Rep for their Dartmouth location.

Job Duties:

• Prospecting and building long term relationships, uncovering / locating opportunities, preparing proposals and nurturing sales opportunities to closure. 
• Accompany other sales team members on sales calls as the instrumentation controls product specialist. 
• Develop and maintain contacts with architects, consulting engineers, contractors, specification writers and building owners to promote and specify the use of our company products and services.
• Will require some travel within the Atlantic Canada area.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Controls and Instrumentation with 10 years of experience 
• 3 to 5 years experience in sales 
• Experience in controls application and selection 
• Ability to understand the customer technical needs and select a suitable controls solutions 
• Familiar with industrial working environment 
• Exposure to steam plant application would be a definite asset 
• Must be technical and detail oriented
