Our Client, a leading supplier of windows, doors, siding and cabinets in the Greater Saint John area, is looking for experienced Cabinet Installers. This is a permanent position, with benefits, which also offers opportunities for advancement.

Duties include:

• Estimating time and materials required for the job, including detailed measurements.
• Identify any potential problems that might affect the installation, and making recommendations to the designer.
• Assist in planning installations, including loading of all materials and components.
• Installation of cabinets and countertops ensuring the best possible fit and functionality of all components.
• Cleanup and removal of all materials and debris from the jobsite.
• Review of operation of all components with customers in a professional manner.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent, and ability to read angles, and make accurate measurements and calculations
• 1-3 years related experience in cabinet installation and finish carpentry
• Skilled in the operation and maintenance of table saws, mitre saws, air nailers, and other power tools
• Ability to work as a team player, and provide direction to other team members
• Dependable and responsible, and able to be prompt and on time on a consistent basis
• Good communication skills in dealing with customers, suppliers, and other team members
