Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)

Positions Available:     

1 Permanent Full-Time, 
1 Temporary Permanent Full-Time (1 yr & 3 mos)
& Part-time & Casual positions

General Responsibilities:

The LPN functions as a member of the Resident Care Team, practicing to full scope in accordance with the Policies and Procedures of the R.K. MacDonald Nursing Home.  As an integral member of the care team, the LPN works collaboratively with residents and staff to provide excellent quality care according to the residents needs.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an approved LPN Course 
• Licensed in the Province of NS
• CPR certification and WHMIS yearly
• Medication Experience
• Experience in Long Term Care an asset
