Miramichi Regional Health Authority has a Medical Sonography Technologist position to perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures and related technical procedures. The successful candidate will assist in coordinating ultrasound procedures with other diagnostic imaging procedures.
Qualifications:
- Must be a member of the Canadian Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
- Registered with ARDMS and/or CARDUP.
- Maintain registry status by obtaining the required thirty hours CME credits every three years.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in emergency situations.
- Assess patient capabilities and limitations and adjust techniques as necessary.
- Good previous work and attendance record.
