As the Director, Communications and Marketing, you will spread the compelling message about StFX and bring this strong brand to life. You will promote StFX's leadership position through comprehensive communications and marketing plans that link the message to the University's overall goals. Act as the spokesperson and media liaison and strengthen public relations efforts that engage external audiences and build the StFX network. Through strategic and creative marketing, public relations and special event management, grow StFX's image as a premium, national undergraduate university.
Reporting to the Vice-President, Advancement and working closely with the President and senior team, you will lead your team of communications experts in telling the story of one of Canada's greatest education experiences. To complement your degree in public relations or a directly related field, you have more than seven years hands-on experience in media relations, issues management, strategic communications, brand management, market research, and advertising. An expert in both written and verbal communication and an adept navigator of diverse stakeholder relationships, you will be looked upon as the University's communications leader and strategic practitioner.
