As a result, of CGI's continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity to join our CGI Atlantic team as an Analyst utilizing your skills.

Role:

To provide application support and maintenance of high profile applications for a leading Canadian client.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Demonstrated experience in application development and maintenance of Java/J2EE, Unix, Oracle Applications.
• Ability to communicate effectively with business areas and technical team members.
• Develop detailed change specifications.
• Carry and pager and provide on cal support on a rotational basis (you will be compensated for this).
• Perform Tier 2 Support and other day to day activities assigned by team manager.
• Perform Tier 3 enhancements and deployments (could be after hours).
• Perform application Health Checks.
• Able to lead conference calls.
• Able to lead Morning Negotiation Meetings.
• Send reports to Managers.
• Work on multiple applications.

Required Work Experience:

• Minimum 4 years of demonstrated experience with the technical skills listed.
• Strong IT industry experience.
• Previous experience in application support.
• Leadership skills are an asset, experience mentoring Junior team members.

Travel:

• Some travel might be required.
