We are currently seeking an Intermediate Materials Engineer to work on an on going contract basis. Based in Saint John, New Brunswick, you will be working for one of the world's leading engineering, procurement and construction companies to the Oil, Gas & Petrochemical sector.

You will have knowledge of and/or experience in of the following:
Providing Piping Materials support for pressure piping systems and technical support to projects during the design and construction phases of a specific project.
Experienced work with line classes,
Piping component purchase descriptions/orders and fabrication specifications.
Conducting such tasks as feasibility studies and both front-end and detailed drawings.
Participate in material selection.
Using your knowledge of engineering as well as knowledge of Refinery and Welding codes to assist in their analyzing and decision making abilities.

You must have experience in:
Working for an EPC company

Qualifications:

Metallurgical or mechanical degree is required.

Please note: The hourly rate for this position will be in line with local salaries in New Brunswick
There is no LOA or per diem.
