One of our clients in Dartmouth, NS is seeking a Service Manager. This is a permanent role. In this role some of the responsibilities will be meeting clients and driving new business. As well as overseeing all departments IE: paint, parts and service. Please see below for more details.

Responsibilities:

• Make sure service is running smooth; Identify priorities from service stand point to make shop run more effective
• Responsible for up to 15 people at any given time
• Meet with clients and make sure their needs are met
• Push new business from a repair point of view – bring in new business
• Be able to work various hours of the day
• Book appointments and be the first point of contact for all clients
• Make sure shop is keeping up with safety requirements and regulations
• Be very organized regarding paperwork as well as effective management

Requirements:

• Knowledge in the trucking/automotive industry would be an asset
• 2+ years of management experience
• Bachelors degree or equivalent is an asset however not mandatory
