Merchandising Supervisor

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for supervising the Merchandising Function for Nova Scotia.

You are directly responsible for recruiting, managing, scheduling, training, evaluating and developing a merchandising team. You will supervise the daily activities of the merchandising Function to ensure merchandising standards, stock rotation, assisting and maintaining appropriate inventory levels, ensure product loss control, overseeing shipping and receiving functions, and securing company assets; all while working with a specified budget.

As an ideal candidate you have 2-3 years experience managing a team. You have experience managing budgets and have the ability to operate manual and powered pallet jacks. You possess above average organizational and personal computer skills; Kronos and Excel experience is an asset. You are not limited to traveling through out the province nor have limitations to assist with the merchandising function, as required.  College Diploma or University Degree is preferred.
