General Manager

Our client, operator of a recreational entertainment facility, is in search of an experienced General Manager to take the business to its next step. You must have strong initiative and drive to provide both an excellent customer experience and build value for the operation.  In this capacity you will work closely with our client's management to reach key objectives for the business.

Responsibilities

• Manage staffing compliment including
• Hiring and orientating new staff
• Training and evaluating staff
• Conducting operation and performance reviews
• Oversee operational areas to ensure a productive and efficient environment is maintained
• Monitor and ensure customer service targets are met
• Achieve company objectives for sales and profit performance
• Direct marketing activities to achieve pre-established sales objectives

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent experience
• Strong communication skills for communicating effectively with staff and customers
• Advanced level of reading, writing and mathematical ability
• Basic computer skills
• Proven ability to lead, direct and supervise
• Retail experience would be considered an asset
