Sales Representative Modernization & Retrofit
Our Client, a well-established provider of industrial-automation and controls solutions, plumbing, mechanical, & electrical supplies, is currently seeking an outgoing, self-starter to fill the position of Automation and Controls outside Representative for the Nova Scotia Area.
As the Sales Representative Modernization & Retrofit you are a successful, energetic, accomplished professional who will be responsible for dealing directly with engineers and purchasers throughout the market. To be successful you must have a strong technical background with building systems along with outstanding communication skills.
Duties:
- Work closely with FSL in branch to support field technicians.
- Promote Modernization, Retrofit and upgrade programs, related to the clients HVAC Mechanical, Building Automation & Control Offerings within the commercial, condominium, industrial and institutional markets.
- Activities are primarily mechanical, electrical & electronic in nature requiring familiarity with: knowledge of blueprints, mechanical engineering, HVAC equipment, heat transfer, refrigeration, chillers, loads, estimates, etc.
- Design, engineer, propose, quote, sell, close and manage the numerous mechanical, automation, control adds, upgrades and changes to building HVAC systems.
- Activities also involve developing a prospecting campaign for new client opportunities; servicing the existing contract client base and working with local management team to provide value add service solutions tailored to fit client needs.
- Extensive client network and relationships. Leverage existing contract base experience.
- Adequate working backlog in sales.
Requirements:
- University Degree, Community College Education, CET or related credentials,
- Understanding and experience with general business principles, sales and HVAC mechanical systems.
- 10 years industry related sales experience.
- Ability to work in a team environment with limited, direct supervision.
- Strong focus on customer satisfaction goals and clients quality values.
- Excellent competency and experience that enables you to provide superior service & support to our existing account base.
- Strong computer skills in Excel, MS Word and online applications.
- Candidate should have a mechanical / services oriented background
- Should be familiar with construction, mechanical services, modernization / retrofit projects, as well as, the sale of Service Maintenance Contracts from related industries would be beneficial.
- Possess integrity, have a sense of urgency and are genuine Team Players.
- Communication, presentation and contemporary computer skills are also required.
Salary: $55000 - $60000
