Who Are We Seeking?

We are now offering an excellent opportunity for a seasoned group exercise leader to join our team as Manager, Group Exercise in the Halifax Regional Municipality, developing and evaluating our fitness programming, as well as assisting in the strategic marketing of these programs to our membership base across Atlantic Canada.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in a variety of group exercise instruction, with 2 or more in evaluation
• Undergraduate degree in a related discipline, with certifications in group exercise
• Proven track record of developing, evaluating and marketing classes
• Excellent leadership, influencing, and motivational skills
• Advanced office software skills including internet, e-mail, and MS Office suite

Responsibilities:

• Recruit, develop, train, and retain group exercise professionals throughout Atlantic Canada
• Provide input on and implement programs, services and standards
• Support the positioning of Nubody’s in the marketplace creating increased service utilization and achievement of member retention, revenue goals and other benchmarks
• Develop and deliver training programs for regional Group Exercise team
• Manage processes and standards, and ensure compliance with professional, regulatory and legal requirements
• Additional duties as required
