| Job Description |
As an Inbound Call Center Representative you will be responsible for servicing Amex card customers under the Sears Canada private label portfolio.
Working in a professional, positive environment, you will provide personalized customer service to meet or exceed our customers' time and quality expectations. Representatives will execute transactions promptly and accurately, respond to customer requests and inquiries, including the administration of all reward and fee based products.
Inbound representatives will research customer inquiries concerning billing errors, disputed transactions, misapplied payments and other general inquiries. Upon completing the customer's service request, you will then transition the conversation to offer additional benefits, services, and products for their account. As up-selling and cross-selling are a major component of this position, you must be comfortable working in a sales environment. Heavy emphasis is placed on your communication and interpersonal skills. You are passionate about providing quality customer service and enjoy working in a sales-focused environment.
In addition, you are results oriented and enjoy the challenge of meeting or exceeding sales goals. As an Inbound Call Center Representative, you play a key role in helping our client retain and grow their business through your ability to provide high quality customer service and offering products that enhance our customer's experience.

| Responsibilities |
- Ensure optimum servicing to our existing customer base by promptly and accurately responding to customer inquiries on complex multiple problems. - Handle incoming call inquiries with sensitivity recognizing both card member and merchant relationships. - Meet or exceed business standards for quality and productivity. - Evaluate account status inquiries at point of contact by analyzing information and recommending solutions to the Card member. - Perform financial adjustments and non-financial maintenance when necessary to ensure that customer and business expectations are met. - Participate in inbound servicing campaigns. - Position may require consultative selling of products and services that have been tailored to meet the needs of a diverse and highly profitable customer segment. - Participate in various servicing initiatives as assigned and meet program objectives.

| Requirements |
- Must be able to commute to head office located at Portage and Main - Must have a minimum of 1 year experience in a call centre, customer service and sales environment. - Advanced computer/keyboarding skills. - Ability to respond to adverse situations, e.g. system problems, irate customers, high call traffic. - Effective and accurate decision making skills. - Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task. - Exceptional telephone communication skills. - Must be flexible to work from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm in a shift environment which may include weekends.
