Atlantic Home Warranty is the largest provider of new home warranty in Atlantic Canada. As a not-for-profit company it offers its service in all four Atlantic Provinces through more than 800 builder members.   

Job Description:

The Continuing Education Manager is responsible for the coordination, development and implementation of the Industry Training Program (ITP) for Atlantic Canada.   Responsibilities apply to courses currently required by members of the Atlantic Home Warranty and other interested parties in the residential construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the Continuing Education Manager's primary responsibilities are to identify new training methods and techniques as a means of improving the overall performance of the ITP.  You will plan, coordinate and implement the ITP for all interested stakeholders. The Manager will ensure superior quality in all aspects of the ITP by reviewing and evaluating the curriculum, instructor qualifications, facilities and equipment. Responsibilities will also include managing the ITP operation budget to provide proper cost control in all areas.

The Continuing Education Manager will work alongside the CEO of Atlantic Home Warranty to help develop and foster positive relations with all interested stakeholders. 

Qualifications:

• The successful candidate must demonstrate knowledge and expertise in the development and delivery of training programs.
• Post secondary education plus related experience in the residential construction industry -An organized self-starter with proven leadership skills
• Excellent communication, organizational and problem solving skills
• The ability to communicate in French will be an asset

Salary Range: Salary and benefits commensurate with qualifications and experience
