Our client, an international leader in the distribution and manufacturing of building products to retail clients, is currently searching for an professional Sales/Management Trainee to fill an immediate position within the Dartmouth area.

The successful candidate will work as part of a team, providing insight into the operation and allowing for the development of the skills needed to progress through the intensive training program. This organization offers the right candidate serious opportunities for advancement through an approved multi-staged process into a management position.

Responsibilities include:

• Working as part of a team to handle inbound calls with an existing account base 
• Promoting business to business sales to meet objectives
• Promoting new products 
• Processing client orders in a timely and efficient manner
• Working with territory managers to solve client problems and grow sales
• Along side the territory managers making presentations and participating in meetings to ensure success

Requirements:

• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership and initiative drive to succeed
• Several years of sales experience preferred
• Aptitude for business to business sales
• University degree or equivalent
• Competitive attitude and strong ambition
