Origin seeks an experienced professional for its downtown Halifax office for a key executive and office administrative position. Reporting to both the Controller and President/CEO, the energetic person chosen for this position will have an opportunity to grow in his or her roles and responsibilities with the company, and will be well rewarded based on this contribution.
Position duties will include events and meetings management, corporate records management, general clerical work such as mailing and filing as well data entry and phone reception. The individual will work closely with the company's senior management, customer service staff and other team members.
The successful candidate will have a demonstrated professional track record of at least 4 years of office management or executive assistant in a high-paced environment. Experience in small to mid-sized business management is a considerable plus. Entry-level applicants will not be considered. The successful candidate will have strong communication and computer skills, and have the ability to adapt and learn new skills quickly. The successful candidate will foremost possess a high level of common sense and self-motivation in an entrepreneurial environment.
