Optio Publishing, an innovative Halifax-based multi-media publisher with many global clients in the Technology and Healthcare sectors, is actively seeking a full-time Accountant to join their growing team.

This position reports directly to the CEO and is responsible for coordinating the financial management of the company including: bookkeeping, payroll, government remittances, monthly financial statement preparation and other reporting as directed.
 
This position will appeal to candidates who possess the following qualifications:

• Post secondary education in accounting
• At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
