Our client, an expert in sanitation solutions has engaged us to help source a qualified Account Executive (Milk Production) for their food and beverage division in Nova Scotia.

As the Account Executive you will report to the Sales Manager and will work from your home (anywhere in Nova Scotia) but will be required to travel approximately 1 day a week or more as required.  The set-up requirements for your home office will be taken care of by our client and you will be provided with the proper tools to do your job (i.e. car, laptop, cell phone, etc.).  The salary range for this position is 50,000-60,000 plus a bonus plan. 

As the Account Executive your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

• Develop Nova Scotia territory by offering products, processes and equipment that meet the needs of the customers with a view to optimize their operations;
• Prepare a strategic sales plan for Nova Scotia territory based on specific objectives;
• Develop existing accounts and solicit potential clients in order to reach or exceed sales objectives;
• Assess clients' needs; prepare and carry out demos and test products;
• Support client's operations;
• Solve problems related to cleaning;
• Train customers involved in these activities;
• Manages partnership programs;
• Checks the status of cleaning systems;
• Prepares and submit reports on visits of clients on a regular basis.

The ideal candidate will meet or exceed the following qualifications:

• College Degree in food science, administration, marketing or pertinent experience;
• Good knowledge of the Food and Beverage industry (especially in dairy sector and CIP systems) is necessary;
• 5 years experience in a milk production environment;
• Experience in sales would be an asset but not necessary;
• Bilingualism (asset);
• Able to win over and influence people;
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft: PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Internet Explorer, Outlook, Windows Mobile;
• Valid driver's license.
