We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant for our Dartmouth, Nova Scotia location.
The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for:
- Coordinating the flow of information, both internally and externally including receiving and prioritizing incoming phone messages, e-mails, faxes, mail, couriers, etc.
- Developing various documents and correspondence as required, including; data entry, reports, spreadsheets, presentations, etc.
- Travel coordination for various members of the team, including completion of expense reports
- General administrative support to various members of the team and/or clients as required
- Other duties as required
The successful candidate will possess:
- Post-secondary education in an office administration related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Previous experience in a customer-related administrative role in a corporate environment
- Detail orientated; Ability to take initiative
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of products; Advanced knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- High degree of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality
