Owned by Enbridge Inc. and several private investors, Enbridge Gas New Brunswick distributes natural gas to over 7,500 institutional, commercial, industrial and residential customers in New Brunswick.  Enbridge Gas New Brunswick currently provides service to nine communities, including Dieppe, Fredericton, Moncton, Oromocto, Riverview, Sackville, Saint John, St. George, and St. Stephen.

The Manager, Marketing will oversee the management of the marketing department with the key responsibility for strategic planning and the development and implementation of marketing communications plan to achieve corporate objectives, primarily pertaining to system expansion, revenue growth and profitability. 

Responsibilities:

  • Management of market research resources to ensure development of research plans to support market planning, program development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
  • Development and implementation of key go-to-market strategies for identified market segments.
  • Provide direction for the development of segment specific marketing programs.
  • Prepare and manage marketing budgets and forecasts.
  • Direct the development and implementation of an integrated marketing communications plan, in support of marketing programs, corporate objectives and initiatives.
  • Ensure the media relations plan is implemented effectively.
  • Represent the company as spokesperson when appropriate.
  • Oversee the determination of appropriate delivery channels and execution of programs through industry channels.
  • Ensures results of marketing programs and initiatives are tracked, monitored and evaluated.

Qualifications:

  • Business and/or economics degree.
  • Related marketing or industry experience. 
  • Critical thinking; ability to identify and assess opportunities and evaluate alternative strategies.
  • Strong management and leadership skills; required to direct and develop a professional marketing and communications team.
  • Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A good understanding of energy end users and the ability to apply this knowledge in the design and development of marketing initiatives.
