| The Ideal Candidate |
The ideal candidate will possess a Building Operator A or class 5 power engineering ticket. They will have an interest in systems and processes, working with their hands, and a strong work ethic. They will also work well independently. |
| Job Description |
Our client is an established provider of commercial and industrial laundry services with operations across North America and Europe. For their Calgary operations they are seeking a qualified Plant Maintenance Assistant, who will report to the Maintenance Supervisor and assist in day-to-day maintenance of the facility and laundry equipment, boilers, conveyer systems, etc. |
| Responsibilities |
• repair and maintain machinery, plumbing, physical structure, electrical wiring and fixtures, and waste water treatment systems in accordance with blueprints, manuals, and building codes;
• perform daily maintenance tasks including cleaning of equipment;
• perform general facility maintenance tasks (painting, cleaning, etc.).

| Requirements |
• Building Operator A or 5th class power engineering ticket required;
• general mechanical knowledge and aptitude required;
• proven ability to follow directions and to work independently.

| Compensation and Benefits Details |
This role includes hourly compensation of between $15 and $17 per hour, benefits, and a pleasant work environment with a great team. |
