GIS Programmer Analyst
An opportunity is available to support implementations of various Geographic Information System (GIS) solutions within the J.D. Irving, Limited companies.
Responsibilities:
Provide GIS technical support to J.D. Irving, Limited Woodlands Division and other J.D. Irving, Limited Companies
Map production, analysis, reporting and database management
Design and develop standardized forestry GIS applications and data processes
Education Requirements – Knowledge & Skills:
University Degree or Community college diploma with GIS content
Previous experience in GIS or forestry science is considered an asset
Strong technical skills using the ESRI suite of GIS software including: ArcGIS 9.X, ArcSDE, ArcGIS Server, Python, SQL Server 2005 and VB.NET
Team oriented individual with excellent communication and problem solving skill
