Inside Sales Representative / Project Quotations Specialist

Major Responsibilities:

  • Handle all incoming and outgoing customer telephone calls in a courteous and professional manner.  Will solicit orders from existing customer base.
  • Coordinate the prompt handling of customer service requests, including, but not limited to, order entry, pricing, expediting and order maintenance.
  • Handle all written correspondence received from and sent to customers in a timely manner.
  • Prepare quotations for projects.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships.
  • Ability to identify customer needs, propose solutions and close orders for assigned products.
  • Provide counter support as required.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to handle a variety of customer situations with enthusiasm and tact. 
  • The ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers is essential.
  • Demonstrable skill at handling and resolving customer complaints.
  • Good oral and written communications skills.
  • Ability to work with all levels of employees and management, both internally and externally.
  • Exhibit excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Consistently able to meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to learn and go the extra mile.

Preferred Education/Experience:

  • Two or more years progressive customer service or inside sales experience
  • Knowledge of electrical products and applications preferred
  • Proven proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, and Word
