Inside Sales Representative / Project Quotations Specialist

Major Responsibilities:
- Handle all incoming and outgoing customer telephone calls in a courteous and professional manner. Will solicit orders from existing customer base.
- Coordinate the prompt handling of customer service requests, including, but not limited to, order entry, pricing, expediting and order maintenance.
- Handle all written correspondence received from and sent to customers in a timely manner.
- Prepare quotations for projects.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships.
- Ability to identify customer needs, propose solutions and close orders for assigned products.
- Provide counter support as required.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to handle a variety of customer situations with enthusiasm and tact.
- The ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers is essential.
- Demonstrable skill at handling and resolving customer complaints.
- Good oral and written communications skills.
- Ability to work with all levels of employees and management, both internally and externally.
- Exhibit excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Consistently able to meet deadlines.
- Willingness to learn and go the extra mile.
Preferred Education/Experience:
- Two or more years progressive customer service or inside sales experience
- Knowledge of electrical products and applications preferred
- Proven proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, and Word
