Essential Qualifications

• Active RN registration in New Brunswick or eligible for such registration.
• One year's experience in Pediatrics and/or two years Medical/Surgical nursing including care of children.
• Must be bilingual in accordance with South-East Regional Health Authority policy, ie. ability to speak and write English and ability to speak French.
• Must have Breast Feeding Module, Chemo Admin and PICU or be willing to obtain these skills within six (6) months.
• All mandatory and relevant certifications must be up to date, including current BCLS and IV certification.
• Mentally and physically able to perform assigned duties.
• Good previous work and attendance records.
• Must have the ability to attend work on a regular basis.

Basic Duties

To holistically coordinate the care of each patient, incorporating the nursing profession's values of knowledge, theory and practice.  To assess, plan, implement and evaluate the needs of patients and significant others in the delivery of care and collaborate with all members of the interdisciplinary team in this approach.
