General Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute automated performance scripts
• Performance and capacity testing using HP Loadrunner and related tools
• Write test plans and test cases from functional specifications and from using the product
• Analyze and report performance testing results

Key Requirements:

• A Computer Science or Computer Engineering degree or performance testing experience
• 1-3 years experience as a Software Tester, preferably in performance testing
• Knowledge of the software development cycle
• Experience writing test plans and test cases
• Strong knowledge of underlying web technologies, including HTTP
• Familiarity with C and SQL programming for script development
• Familiarity with J2EE, web development, .NET, and database technologies would be beneficial
• Knowledge of Java, C/C++, C#, PHP, Ruby, or SQL would be beneficial
• Test automation experience would be beneficial
• Bilingualism is an asset

• Flexibility, selfmotivation, and the ability to give and receive feedback at all levels are required
• Strong management, interpersonal, and communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to navigate and work through challenges with a positive attitude
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Experience working in a teamoriented, collaborative environment

This position can be located in either Fredericton, NB, or Halifax, NS.
