Production Operators
Responsibilities:
· Forming & testing of wallboard, production of stucco, curing, packaging and warehousing.
· Equipment cleaning, inspection, light maintenance and lubrication ensuring maximum reliability.
· Use of statistical process controls to run the process
· Product and process testing responsibilities
· Willing to work on a shift schedule
· Work with high performance work teams to resolve process related issues
· Forklift operation
· Ability to work in an accident free manner and help insure that team members work safely while performing all job duties
The successful candidates will possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Previous production operator experience will be considered a strong asset. Other requirements and qualifications are as follows;
· Good problem solving, trouble shooting and communication skills
· Ability to collect and use data
· Ability to work in a fast paced team environment
· Flexibility to work in various roles
· Ability to work in an accident free manner and help to insure that team members work safely while performing all job duties
· Safety training in the areas of confined space and fall arrest will be considered an asset
· Interest in working in a continuous learning environment where LEAN manufacturing practices will be utilized. Previous experience in LEAN or Six Sigma would be an asset
