Dartmouth Refinery

We now have career opportunities in our operations department for team-oriented, flexible and professional individuals. These positions will require the successful candidate to operate in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner and for you to adhere to established practices, procedures and quality guidelines at all times. Successful candidates will also be expected to possess a valid driver's license and complete our in-house progression program within a set timeframe.

Operations:

Power Engineer (Standardized) – 2nd class certified –
Ref # 10-PT-01
(12-hour rotating shifts with 39-hour average workweek)

Power Engineer (Standardized) – 3rd & 4th class certified –
Ref # 10-PT-02
(12-hour rotating shifts with 39-hour average workweek)

All Operations positions require that:

Experience in a similar role in a manufacturing or equivalent environment is an advantage. A high school diploma or equivalent will be required for the above listed positions. The qualifications listed for the position are minimum qualifications, equal or higher qualifications will be considered. It will be the responsibility of the applicants to provide proof, if required, to the Nova Scotia Department of Environment and Labour.
