On their behalf, we seek a Corporate Credit Manager to lead their team of Credit Professionals within their Corporate Finance Group in Saint John, N.B. The Corporate Credit Manager is a senior leader within the organization, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer and will lead a team of 5 Credit Professionals.  This team manages diverse portfolios for the client’s various internal customers ensuring that all relevant financial and non-financial aspects are considered and all respective credit risks being identified and suitably mitigated. 

The ideal candidate is a proven leader, with a minimum of ten years of credit experience, and currently either a Credit Manager in a similar role or a Commercial or Corporate Relationship Manager who is looking to develop their career within credit. You have completed post secondary education and have sound understanding of financial forecasting methodology and credit rating interpretation. You have the ability to lead change and easily deal with a wide variety of individuals and situations. An excellent problem solver and negotiator, you enjoy working in a fast paced environment and providing excellence in customer service. Along with strong communication and presentation skills you possess sound business judgment. In this capacity, you will be able to formulate an independent view and where necessary challenge the Credit Professionals and/or the internal/external customers from both a credit risk and business care perspective.
