Part-time Intermediate Accountant

Bayview Trucks & Equipment Ltd. has an immediate opening for a Part-time Intermediate level Accountant in their Saint John Branch.  Bayview has been operating as a full service Truck Sales, Leasing, Service and Parts Dealership in Saint John for 38 years. They have expanded to include two new locations in Woodstock and Moncton, bringing their total locations to six.

This position is ideal for an energetic, conscientious individual looking for a Part-time position of 15-23 hours per week (2-3 days) with the potential for extra hours, during monthly and annual deadlines.

Assisting the controller, the candidate will have a post-secondary education in accounting or be enrolled in an accounting program with 3-5 years accounting experience.

Excellent computer skills are a must with proficiency in Excel.

Duties will include monthly B/S account reconciliations, preparation and posting of monthly Journal entries, assisting with the budgeting process, preparing and maintaining cost analysis reports, assisting with other processing functions as required.
