Technical Support Services Professional

We currently have opening for 12 highly motivated fulltime Technical Support Service Professionals to work in our Saint John location. These exciting career opportunities await you in our dynamic team-spirited IT support environment. Theses opportunities involve support and restoration of IT services for World Class Hotels and Resorts around the globe. You will deliver First class IT Support to Wyndham owned or Franchised properties worldwide by detecting, recording, investigating, diagnosing, and resolving customer IT incidents. You will be single point of contact for acceptance, ownership of all incidents and service requests. You will provide your best effort to troubleshoot, resolve in areas of: hardware, software including different OS platforms, and all applications. You will escalate issues to the next level of support as required.
Description:
- Provide on phone support for reported incidents or service requests. Training to customers as required.
- Provide permanent solutions to reduce call volume or enhance the services we provide.
- Prioritizing workload to work priority incidents or escalated incidents first.
- Project work as needed related to supporting our IT environment or any service we provide to our customer.
- Provide documentation for the Knowledgebase.
- This position supports a 24-hour a day business unit. Flexible work schedules are required to accommodate staffing and call volume.
Qualifications:
- Post secondary education in Networking, Microcomputers or related fields or equivalent on the job experience
- Minimum two years experience in a Service Desk or Technical support environment
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with the usage, configuration and troubleshooting of Windows 2000, XP, 2003 and Microsoft office products and a network environment
- A+, Network + or working equivalent
- Familiar with remote access tools and HEAT or other incident tracking tools
- Superior Customer Service skills are required
- Strong keyboarding and typing skills
- Proven analytical and problem solving
- Experience in the Hospitality and/or night auditing experience is considered an asset
