Senior Project Manager

We have an immediate opening for a Senior Project Manager to join our Fredericton, New Brunswick Team. Acting as Senior Project Manager you will be ongoing support and maintenance of multiple applications on a client project in Fredericton, NB.  This project will transition from Development to Operations and the Project Manager role is key to overseeing a smooth transition and maintaining ongoing standards and relationships.

Education/Certifications Required

• University Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or equivalent combination of skills and experience
• PMP Certification

Required Skills and Experience:

• 10 + years experience in the IT Industry as a Project Manager on medium sized, complex projects
• Budget Administration experience
• Experience leading a team of up to 10 people
• Well versed in Systems Development and Project Management methodologies
• Business savvy and able to communicate with multiple stakeholders and vendors
• Relationship Management
• Experience managing an Operations Project with transition from Development to Operations
• Excellent communication abilities
• Experience managing to an agreed upon Service Level Agreement

Optional Skill Set:

• Experience with software applications from Orion Healthcare and Initiate Systems would be an asset
• Previous Healthcare experience would be considered an asset
• Knowledge of ITIL
• Knowledge of Remedy
• PRINCE2 Certification or other experience in Project Management methodologies
