Job Description Our client, a growing accounting firm in the Halifax region, is looking for an experienced Chartered Accountant to join their team.

Responsibilities
As an integral part of this growing office, the Chartered Accountant will be responsible for providing exceptional service and continually exceeding client expectations. Additional responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
  • Execute audits, tax preparation, and consulting;
  • Plan fieldwork assignments including budget and resource needs;
  • Utilize existing networks to identify and develop new business;
  • Ensure fluid communication with all team members in order to manage and surpass client requirements.
Requirements
  • Chartered Accountant designation;
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years experience
     within public practice preferred, however consideration will also be given to new graduates and senior level Chartered Accountants;
     
  • Proven ability to deliver the full cycle of project management accountabilities;
  • Experience with project problem diagnosis, solution development and the facilitation of decision making;
  • Superior communication and analytical skills;
  • Must have a commitment to professional and client service excellence;
  • Strong technical expertise in auditing and accounting.
