| Job Description |
- Satisfy internal requests for information.
- Respond to external requests for information
- Receive and review client requests for hazardous waste removal
- Ensure that site specific requirements have been met
- Estimate or solicit from contractor(s) estimates for hazardous waste removal costs
- Provide estimates to clients for project creation (i.e. proposals)
- Establish sub-projects through the internal business unit for cost recovery
- Approve removal operations
- Update and amend registrations as required
- Receive collection day billing information
- Review collection day information to ensure file is complete
- Enter collection day information into working spreadsheet
- Receive invoices that match work orders found in collection day files
- Review work orders against invoices to ensure tasks match actual work done
- Review invoices against contract(s) to ensure that costs line up with contract pricing
- Code invoices with appropriate Environmental Service Directorate project number
- Submit invoice(s) to manager for signature and review

| Responsibilities |
- Well-developed problem solving skills related to client services and contract management.
- Ability to manage and document contract expenditures.
- Keen planning and organization.
- Adept communication skills for interaction with clients and subordinate staff.
- Ability to interpret and follow complex compliance requirements.
- Excellent computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Work and Excel.
- Candidate must be able to work with minimal supervision, and must be resourceful (able to figure out things for themselves), and dependable

| Requirements |
It would be advantageous for the incumbent to have the following knowledge:
- Hazardous waste disposal operations and industry procedures.
- SAP (Sigma) project management systems.
- External contacts with agencies and government bodies that regulate hazardous waste management in Ontario (Ministry of the Environment, MOE) and Quebec (Ministry of the Environment).
- Contract management in the Federal Public Service.
