The Arthritis Society of Nova Scotia helps individuals living with Arthritis, and plays a critical role in providing funding for research.   Comprised of a dedicated team of volunteers throughout the province, a committed staff of professionals and an exceptional Board, the Arthritis Society is helping Nova Scotians with arthritis live better lives every day. 

To further their work, they are seeking a Professional Fundraiser to join their team in Halifax. As the member of the team with primary responsibility in creating opportunities to generate revenue, you will have experience in creating and nurturing relationships both at a corporate and community level.  You are creative, energetic, and driven to meeting goals.  Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for executing the fundraising plan.  You will examine new opportunities for fundraising and create campaigns and relationships that will stimulate the activities that lead to success.  You have been in roles with direct responsibility for meeting financial plans/quotas in a not-for-profit organization. You have exceptional communication skills, savvy marketing knowledge, and most of all, are a person of sincere commitment to your role and organization.

You will bring 5+ years of demonstrated experience in fundraising (or possibly business development), volunteer management, campaign and special events planning. You have a natural energy that enthuses others around you.  This is a growth opportunity and you will be compensated competitively.
