Our client is currently seeking Software Developers for their Dartmouth, Nova Scotia location.
The Software Developers will be responsible for various activities including:
- Architecture and design of software solutions
- Developing and unit testing software deliverables
- Developing software requirements and detailed design documents
- Developing work breakdown structure and effort estimates
- Assisting technical writers in creating and maintaining user manuals
- Assisting the Product Verification Testing Team in creating detailed test plans for software products
- Supporting sales and technical support in product training and troubleshooting
- Investigating new software technology and offering recommendations that may add value to current products/processes
As the successful candidate you will possess:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience
- A minimum of three years of C# software development experience (a must)
- Microsoft Windows programming experience
- General client/server programming experience
- Must be comfortable working individually and as part of a team
- Experience estimating, planning, and reporting on project status
- Familiarity with the waterfall software development process
- Innovative problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
