Database Developer

CARIS continuously evolves to ensure that we are meeting and exceeding market requirements and as a result are seeking a Database Developer to join our high performance, award winning team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining a library of oracle functions and procedures as well as application components
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Experience with oracle development environment including Oracle forms reports and PL/SQL
- Experience with JAVA/J2EE development
- Goal-oriented approach to work
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Collaborative team player
- Good interpersonal skills
Qualifications:
- A relevant undergraduate degree or diploma
- 1 – 2+ years of SQL and object oriented development experience
The following would be considered assets:
- Experience using Toad
- Knowledge of UML and UML design tools
- Experience with Quality Assurance and ISO practices
