Job Description Meet the daily challenges of this exciting, new HR management role and be part of a very successful North American service organization. 4 to 5 years generalist experience with an HR designation are essential requirements for the success of this growth opportunity. Hands-on experience includes developing and maintaining procedures and policies, recruitment, training, staying apprised of government legislation and programs and investigation and resolution of employee inquiries and concerns. This is an all-encompassing role which will appeal to the professional who has exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, effective time managment and problem solving ability. Responsibilities - develop, maintain procedures & policies
- investigate employee inquiries & concerns, facilitate resolution
- training related to people management and team development
- keep head office and branches apprised of various government progams
- assist with recruitment and hiring requirements
- liaise with operations re compensation plans, job descriptions & performance appraisals
- work on reward and recognition programs
Requirements - post-secondary education preferred
- HR Designation
- 4 to 5 years hands on generalist HR experience
- exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- conversational French an asset
- effective time management & problem solving
- an enthusiastic HR professional who is flexible & welcomes change and challenge
Compensation and Benefits Details $55,000-$60,000 Plus bonus & benefits program
