We are seeking a full time Support Technician to work with our team in Moncton. Primary responsibilities are to monitor our technical environment for problems and respond rapidly to end-user service requests. The Support Technician also provides first-tier on-call support on a rotating schedule.
The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills, and be able to work well with many types of people. The applicant must have an above-average attention to detail, and be professional in manner and appearance at all times. The applicant must maintain a valid driver's license at all times during employment with the Company.
This entry-level position is ideal for a person who wishes to leverage their skills and independent work ethic into future opportunities.
Required skills:
- Ability to fully support all Microsoft products and infrastructure including desktop and server support (MCSE, A+ an asset)
- Must have customer service experience and the ability to multi-task.
- Experience working with Graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite.
- Working knowledge of Linux/Unix
- Demonstrates the ability to research, troubleshoot and resolve IT related problems in a multi-system environment.
- Ability to learn new software and workflow systems quickly.
- Ability to think out side the box and follow a process through to a successful completion.
- Experience working on project teams.
- Knowledge of PHP, Perl, Microsoft SQL, or HTML an asset
The successful applicant will have a college or technical school education in computers, or equivalent experience.
