Cooke Aquaculture Inc., a dynamic and growing east coast family company, is looking to expand the IT Team with the addition of an IT Support Technician in our Blacks Harbour office.

Located in South West New Brunswick, Cooke Aquaculture Inc.,  founded in 1985, has grown dramatically through recent acquisitions to become Canada’s largest fully integrated, independent producer of Atlantic salmon and related products.

Reporting to the IT Manager, your responsibilities will include, troubleshooting and resolving basic PC issues, installing new equipment, applications, upgrades, and performing maintenance.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of Windows for desktops, MS applications, a general understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts as well as firewalls, routers and switches. 
You will be experienced in both technical support and networking; you will also possess excellent communication skills.  You must be able to participate in a rotating on call 24/7 support and travel if required.
