Senior Estimator – Structural Steel Fabrication

One of Atlantic Canada’s leading firms in the area of structural steel fabrication is currently searching for a seasoned Senior Estimator to join their team.  Reporting to the Vice President, your role will involve a number of responsibilities. As the Senior Estimator you will:

• Engage in cost analysis of various projects in structural steel for commercial and heavy civil purposes
• Prepare drawing and addendum reviews in relation to bids
• Mentor junior and intermediate estimators
• Liaise with commercial and governmental clients

To be considered for this exciting role, you must meet the following criteria:

• CET or comparable post-secondary education related to the construction and/or engineering disciplines (Civil-Structural)
• A minimum of 5 years experience in an estimation capacity in structural steel
• Structural steel industry related experience is considered an asset
• Proficiency in safety related training
