Essential Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse - actively registered in New Brunswick.
- Must have up to date certifications in CPR, ACLS, BCMI, Hemodynamics, Cardioversion, Defib, Pacing, Fire & Disaster, and Lifts & Transfers.
- Must have two years recent ICU experience or recent completion of a critical care course.
- All mandatory certifications must be up to date.
- Mentally and physically able to perform assigned duties.
- Good previous work records.
- Must be able to attend work on a regular basis.
Demonstrated adherence to all privacy legislation and Health Authority policies to ensure all confidential patient, business, financial and employee information is accessed on a need to know basis only (for required job duties) and is disclosed only to those authorized to receive it.
Must have applicable immunizations within 1 month of accepting position.
Basic Duties:
To holistically coordinate the care of each patient, incorporating the nursing profession's values of knowledge, theory and practice. To assess, plan, implement and evaluate the needs of patients and significant others in the delivery of care and collaborate with all members of the interdisciplinary team in this approach.
