The OSCO Construction Group consists of construction and manufacturing companies that fabricate both steel & precast concrete products and perform specialty construction services.  We presently have a Concrete Quality Inspector career opportunity at Strescon Limited in Saint John, NB. 

Responsibilities:

• Examine plans, drawings and site layouts;
• Ensure compliance to drawings, specifications and building codes;
• Conduct concrete sample testing;
• Inspect various pre-cast concrete products;
• Ensure adherence to construction drawings during pre-pour and post-pour work;
• Destructive and non-destructive testing of finished products;
• Determine proper compliance of standards;
• Documentation of inspection reports;

This position requires working night shifts on occasion.

 Education Requirements – Knowledge & Skills:

• Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational training or equivalent technical training:
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment;
• Good communication skills
