Built on providing outstanding customer service and an affordable dining experience, our client is one of the largest operators of quick service restaurants in Canada. They are currently searching for an assistant manager who will share in their vision of success. Someone who will support the Manager and help maintain a quality customer experience.
The successful candidate must be a self-motivator, a solid team player, exhibit strong communication skills, and be extremely detail oriented.
Qualifications:
- Minimum one to two years experience in restaurant or related foodservice industry
- Extremely well organized, excel at multi-tasking, and love a fast paced environment
- Hands on management skills and an outgoing personality
- Demonstrated ability to coach and train others
- High energy level combined with strong leadership skills
- Ability to implement positive change to an established environment
- Demonstrated ability in scheduling, inventory and accounting
- Great customer service skills
- Not afraid of hard work and long hours
- Basic personal computer literacy (Word, Excel, Email) a definite asset
- Working knowledge of in-store systems and corporate policies and procedures
Responsibilities:
- Provide overall leadership in the absence of the Manager in the restaurant
by recognizing and motivating staff, coaching and training the team and
achieving operational excellence
- Assist Restaurant Manager with all duties and responsibilities of running a
successful restaurant
- Assist with developing an action plan to achieve productivity targets
- Analyze sales, labour, inventory and controls on a monthly basis
- Assist with management in conducting all restaurant management and
team member performance appraisals
- Ensure complete and timely execution of corporate and local marketing programs
