Our client is currently seeking a dynamic, innovative and motivated Professional Engineer with experience in the gypsum manufacturing sector, to join their team. If you have the ability to perform in a lead capacity, and are proficient in the utilization of current engineering theories and practices, this may be the career opportunity for you.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

Provide technical support for the plant operations.
Daily monitoring and troubleshooting of the plant equipment and processes, process optimization, design and development of projects.
Will work in a team environment with operators, technicians and engineers to maintain and troubleshoot problems as well as develop advanced applications for the plant equipment.
Ensures compliance with company standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality and safety.

Qualifications must include:

Minimum of 3-5 years experience in process engineering or operations.
Bachelors in Mechanical, Chemical or Industrial Engineering is required, with experience in gypsum manufacturing.
Ability to plan, schedule and manage multiple work activities to meet needs and expectations required. 
Must possess ability to lead a team and delegate work out to team.
Must be able to interact with a variety of experience levels and position types.
Excellent communication skills and people skills due to the significant number of interfaces required.
