Our client is seeking a confident professional to lead the organization's energy conservation efforts to achieve break-through reductions in energy consumption. This includes improvements in electricity, steam and water usage.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
- Lead a cross-functional team to identify and implement an energy management information system that enables tracking and auditing of energy levels aimed at optimizing consumption.
- Grow internal competency and develop a structure that will facilitate energy reduction as a sustained focal point for the organization.
- Create a culture of continuous improvement with respect to energy conservation through awareness, education, training, visibility and measurement.
- Facilitate a team that will focus on the high leverage items that have commonality across the organization.
- Tracking and reporting progress to include roll-up of common high leverage opportunities.
- Provide internal expertise on LEED and Energy Star.
To be successful in this role you have an Engineering or Business Degree and 3-5 years experience in energy engineering or energy management. You are organized and focused with excellent project management skills. A demonstrated ability to lead change and good financial acumen are a must.
