Structural Steel Fitters

The OSCO Construction Group consists of construction and manufacturing companies that fabricate both steel & precast concrete products and perform specialty construction services.   We presently have Steel Fitter career opportunities at Ocean Steel in Saint John, NB and York Steel in Fredericton, NB.

Responsibilities:

• Fabrication, assembly and fitting of structural metal or steel;
• Lay out reference points and patterns;
• Construct patterns and templates;
• Read blueprints.

Requirements – Knowledge & Skills:

• Completion of high school;
• Completion of college/CEGEP/Vocation or Technical Training or equivalent experience; 
• Steel Fabrication Trade Certification is considered a definite asset.
