Founded in 1963, Strescon has grown to become the largest prestressed concrete manufacturer in Eastern Canada. We service our customers from our operations in New Brunswick & Nova Scotia and have expanded our market area from the Atlantic Provinces to include the New England region of the United States.

The Challenge:

• A Project Manager is accountable for the manufacture of precast/prestressed concrete products. This involves the planning, scheduling and co-ordination with clients, sub-contractors, detailing, fabrication, shipping, and erection.
• You will engage in a multitude of responsibilities from issuing subcontracts, scope reviews, requisitions, and change order requests for variations in scope and ongoing communication to complete projects. Other duties include scheduling drawing submittals, hardware and delivery of material to jobsites as well as submitting monthly progress claims and approving invoices. 

The Expertise:

• Drive, determination and a self-disciplined approach to achieving results that meet and maintain the established standards of quality and accuracy is necessary for successful job performance.
• Excellent communication skills with exceptional time management, sense of urgency, and organizational skills are required.
• The ideal candidate has a Civil/Mechanical Engineering (Technology or Degree) background, and is eager to grow with this organization.  We would also consider a candidate with experience in the Concrete industry and/or project management.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel and experience reading drawings would be considered an asset.
