Detailer – Concrete Sector

Founded in 1963, Strescon has grown to become the largest prestressed concrete manufacturer in Eastern Canada.  We service our customers from our Precast, Pipe and Ready Mix operations in New Brunswick & Nova Scotia and the New England region of the United States.

Responsibilities: 

• Detailing architectural and structural precast concrete members, including bridges, building and miscellaneous members;
• Precast building layouts;
• Working with structural and architectural contract drawings;
  

Education Requirements - Knowledge & Skills:

• Post Secondary education in Civil, Architectural or Mechanical Technology is preferred, however, less education combined with appropriate experience will be taken into consideration;
• Previous experience with drafting/detailing and experience using a computerized drafting software package is a definite asset;
• Ability to work in a steady and even pace to promote accuracy and quality of work.
