Mark Cormier
National Accounts Manager
Montreal, Québec
BBA, Université de Moncton - 1999

A graduate of Business Administration from the Université de Moncton, Mark knew he wanted to work in a challenging environment. He began his career as a Market Analyst working with the Marketing team on in-depth analysis of the industry, our customers and the retail environment.

A year later, Mark was promoted to an Account Manager in Atlantic Canada, responsible for pricing and promotions of Majesta products. Today, Mark is working in Montréal as a National Accounts Manager for the Québec and Ottawa region.

Mark has travelled all across Canada with the senior management team to present the new Royale product line to the marketplace. He has represented us at a major packaged goods trade show in Chicago and has attended an A.C. Nielsen training seminar in Toronto.

“There’s a great work atmosphere here,” says Mark. “Professional growth is emphasized and the environment fosters creativity, cooperation, and pride. I truly have taken my career to new heights with Irving Tissue.”

Irving Tissue began in 1988 with the purchase of a tissue mill in Saint John that produces jumbo rolls of tissue which are converted into consumer products. We have experienced solid growth since 1990 when the Majesta brand was introduced.

In 1996 Irving Tissue acquired the Scotties brand label (U.S.) and a tissue mill in Fort Edward, New York. And, in 2001, we purchased P&G’s Toronto plant and the "Royale" brand.

Irving Tissue is part of Irving Forest Products who employ more than 8,000 people in Canada. The company leads the nation with the planting of over 500 million trees.
